Cracked Racquets, LLC, the leading source for all things tennis, is excited to announce the addition of Richard Maj to their team as their new intern. Maj, a sophomore at Syracuse University, is double majoring in broadcast & digital journalism and psychology. He brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the sport that will undoubtedly enhance Cracked Racquets’ coverage.
Maj’s love for tennis began at the age of 7, after watching a match with his dad. Since then, he has been playing and coaching the sport for 2 years. His favorite player is Iga Swiatek and he co-hosts the Bagels and Breadsticks podcast.
Dalton Thieneman, President and Founder of Cracked Racquets, is thrilled to welcome Maj to the team. Thieneman said, “We are extremely excited to add Richard to the CR Team. As you can tell, he has been a fanatical tennis fan his entire life. Having that passion mixed with the experience he has gained at Syracuse and the ACC Network in media and production is a lethal combination. We can’t wait to share his coverage with you.”
As an intern, Maj will be responsible for assisting the Cracked Racquets team with various tasks, including content creation, social media management, podcasting, and broadcast production. With his expertise in journalism and psychology, Maj is poised to bring a unique perspective to the Cracked Racquets team.
Maj said, “I am incredibly excited to be joining the Cracked Racquets team. Tennis has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I can’t wait to share my passion for the sport with the world. I look forward to working alongside the talented team at Cracked Racquets to deliver the best coverage possible.”
With the addition of Maj to their team, Cracked Racquets is well-positioned to continue delivering top-quality coverage and analysis of the world of tennis.
